Blog #14: Frankenstein

I’m dead tired after soccer I’m like physically unable to move, but just for Frankenstein I will do this blog.

So women as I have stated before are kinda belittled without power, kinda like in the Carpe Diem poems, and in Hamlet. But Safie, she turns the stereotype around by disobeying her father and tries to flee to Felix, her love. She portrays a strong character, probably the strongest in the book, although the very small role. Like her father and the monster, Safie is an outsider. She though is the only one that finds friends. I am taking a gander and guessing this may be a character that parallels Mary Shelly herself.
